Our Products

Rush Salt LLC operates a corporate office in McAllen TX and two production facilities manufacturing fluxes and foundry products for the aluminum industry.

Cover Flux

Cover fluxes are applied to the melt surface to form a physical cover and improve metal recovery.

Today cover fluxes are used almost anywhere aluminum scrap is melted. Chemistry and particle sizing are critically important in cover fluxes in order to achieve the desired melting point and performance.

Dmag

Aluminum alloys containing more than 2 % magnesium become brittle with sodium.

This flux is a compact covering and cleaning granulated flux, which generates low dust and low fume during application. It reacts quickly with molten aluminium and remove the alkali metal (Ca,Na,Li,Sr) and non-metallic inclusions (oxides,carbides,borides)and degassing.

Ca Remover

This flux is a sodium-free product suitable for manual application and / or injection.

It is highly effective in the range of aluminum alloys processing temperatures, and for use in the removal Sodium, Calcium, and Lithium especially in production of high magnesium alloys, and foundry alloys where strontium modification is required.
